Below I have more information regarding my scavenger hunt topic, the Stockholm Public Library, a hallmark of Swedish architecture and a combination of various architectural styles. Accordingly, Stockholm Public Library has been interpreted as "revolutionary architecture" in the tradition of Ledoux and Boullée. However, since such projects did not appear in popular publication until early 1930:s, Asplund's design seems to be based on other sources.

The name is today used for both the main library itself as well as the municipal library system of Stockholm. Asplund’s design for the Stockholm Public Library was, at first, purely traditional, with a coffered dome, porticoed entry, and lavish exterior wall treatments more suited to a palazzo than a Stockholm Library Commentary "Asplund's scheme of a round hall surrounded by staircases has a great deal in common with his Lister Courthouse, completed at the same time. The first sketches for the Public Library, prepared in 1921, depict a domed room.
